Senior Back-End Developer (This role is open to hybrid candidates in Montreal/Ottawa only)Successful candidates for this position will be expected to participate in a rotational on-call schedule and able to obtain Canadian government security clearance.GHGSat offers greenhouse gas detection, measurement, and monitoring services to industrial and government customers around the world. We use our own satellites and aircraft sensors, combined with third-party data, to help industrial emitters better understand, control, and reduce their emissions.GHGSat’s capability is unique: The company provides high-resolution, local measurements of atmospheric methane and carbon dioxide concentration from space. This further provides the company with a means to detect greenhouse gas emitters and to visualize and quantify their emissions.You will join the Operations Systems team as a Back End developer. The Operations System team’s mandate is to design and deploy software systems that process, manage, and store emissions related data. The team operates using Agile Scrum methodology.
