About the RoleWe’re looking for a Software Developer Intern to join our team full-time during the Fall 2025 semester. As part of the Engineering team at Botpress, you’ll focus on solving real problems for our clients using code. You’ll work on high-impact projects, collaborate across functions, and help scale what works. If you’re proactive, resourceful, and excited about using technology (including occasional technical content) to make things happen in the fast-moving world of conversational AI, we’d love to hear from you.Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain customer-impacting features using Reactamp; Node.js (Typescript)
  • Develop and maintain integrations connecting Botpress to external systems using Reactamp; Node.js (Typescript)
  • Write unit and end-to-end tests for mission-critical features
  • Add tracking and monitoring to capture user journeys
  • Contribute to product documentation
Requirements
  • You have a relentless passion for learning, experimenting, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with new technologies.
  • You bring a “can-do” mindset to every challenge and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a Quebec-based learning institution.
  • Interest in the AI agent and large language model (LLM) space.
  • Experience with chatbots, AI, or related technologies is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React
