Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team at RAZR Marketing. As an SRE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both software development and system administration, with a passion for automating operational tasks and implementing best practices for infrastructure as code. What You Love To Do

1. Infrastructure Automation:

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Pulumi.
• Automate routine tasks and operational processes to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

2. Monitoring and Incident Response:

• Establish and maintain comprehensive monitoring solutions for infrastructure, applications, and services.
• Collaborate with development teams to define and implement alerting thresholds.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents, ensuring timely resolution and post-incident analysis.

3. Performance Optimization:

• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system components for better scalability and efficiency.
• Conduct capacity planning to anticipate and address future infrastructure requirements.

4. Security and Compliance:

• Implement security best practices for AWS environments, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Work closely with the security team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

5. Continuous Improvement:

• Drive initiatives to improve system reliability, performance, and operational processes.
• Conduct regular reviews of incident reports and implement preventative measures to avoid recurring issues.

6. Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and support, to ensure a cohesive and reliable system.
• Share expertise and knowledge through documentation, training, and mentorship.

7. Disaster Recovery and Resilience:

• Assist with the development and execution of plans to ensure business continuity in case of infrastructure failures.
• Test and validate disaster recovery procedures regularly.

8. Cost Optimization:

• Work on optimizing AWS costs through effective resource utilization, reserved instances, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.

• Bachelor #39;s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services and a solid understanding of cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as TypeScript, Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like ECS or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
