OverviewWe are looking for a highly motivated and skilled QA Engineer to join our Team. You will be responsible for developing and executing manual and automated solutions on our SaaS platform. This role will be working closely with the Product and Development teams to review and refine requirements and acceptance criteria throughout the planning process to improve development cycle time and produce high quality features.What You Love to Do

• Ensure high quality of software releases
• Design and execute effective test plans that include manual testing and automation testing
• Identify test scenarios (manual and automated), test cases, and test data to ensure maximum test coverage for features new and existing.
• Refine requirements and acceptance criteria with the Product team so test plans are ready before development begins
• Perform in flight automation and/or automate regression tests as time allows

Experience

• Successful track record designing and executing effective test plans for manual and automation testing
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern automation frameworks such as Cypress and Playwright
• Experience contributing to complex automation projects using GIT, branching/merging, build systems, and continuous integration
• Prior experience analyzing business user needs and working with cross functional teams to refine requirements and create test scenarios early before feature development
• Ability to log comprehensive defects / bugs for Product / Development to understand and execute
• Experience API Testing
• Experience with Performance and Load testing (BlazeMeter, JMeter, Load Runner, Neo Load etc) and automating performance testing
• Understanding of the current standards for accessibility i.e. (WCAG, AODA, etc) and experience with a11y testing
• Collaborative team player and excellent communication skills

Qualificationsamp; Education

• Bachelor #39;s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3+ years working experience
• Experience in automated test creation using Playwright or Cypress with Typescript/JavaScript
• Must have experience in Manual Feature testing and regression testing
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Extensive experience in refining requirements and acceptance criteria with various team members
• Knowledge of QA software tools for test plan and defect management like TestRail and Jira
• Any experience with AWS, Kafka, and Docker is a bonus
