As a result, we have a wide range of traditional food options, as well as, newly developed products to meet the dynamic needs of Albertans.For more information about the company please visit: www.mundaresausage.com.What’s the RoleWe are seeking a self-motivated team player to join our management team as the HACCP Coordinator and Quality Assurance Technician. This is a short-term role that has the potential to become a fulltime position.The candidate will work with staff in Mundare, AB to contiue our HACCP plan for the facility. The candidate will then transition into the diverse and exciting role of HACCP coordinator, Quality Assurance Technician, and potentially Safety Officer. Our facility is SQF certified.The HACCP Coordinator, will be required to learn, maintain and improve upon our HACCP plans to ensure accuracy, suitability, and compliance with CFIA guidelines; audit process controls and manufacturing compliance as per Stawnichy’s procedures, including pre-op and operational inspection procedures; follow non-conforming product procedures in the event of a deviation; conduct training to employees to reinforce or introduce Quality Policies.The candidate will be responsible for our quality control program, including raw material program (inspectionamp; grading; review and updating of specifications and certificates of analysis; supplier verification); manage nutritional information; oversee customer inquiries and investigate/report on customer concerns.Qualifications required include a Food Science degree with further training on HACCP requirements and audit processes.
