We offer services from bookkeeping, personal tax preparation, corporate year ends and tax planning. KMA provide Canada and US tax services. We are a registered training office as KMA is approved for audits and reviews.KMA believes in providing the highest level of service to our clients. This is a point of pride for the KMA Team.KMA Chartered Professional Accountants (KMA) is growing firm that seeks a bright, outgoing individual to join our team. We are looking for a full-time Bookkeeper, with a minimum of one-year of experience. This position starts immediately.KMA requires a well-rounded individual who can engage with our clients in order to provide service that exceeds their expectations. This is a position for an outgoing, client service driven person. You should be a person who enjoys working with clients and others. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, the ability to manage his/her own time, and he or she must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.Our team members are individuals who are building upon their existing skills and abilities. KMA supports this growth through courses, mentoring and new tasks.At KMA Chartered Professional Accountants you will work closely with an experienced group of professionals. We believe in investing in our people in order see them develop into exceptional professionals.The successful candidate should possess the following skills and experience:The ability to take review others work and provide thoughtful feedback in order to ensure that the file meets the firms’ objectives.

  • A deep understanding of payroll, payroll processing and CRA reporting matters.
  • Knowledge of personal tax preparation and other filings is an asset.
  • A strong knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks and Sage. Preference is for experience with the online version of the products. KMA is a Xero Bronze partner.
  • The ability to work independently towards goals
  • The ability to complete sales tax filings and payroll remittances
  • The ability to complete all related tax filings from T4’s, T5’s and personal tax returns is a definite aset
  • Proven strengths in using Excel and a wide variety of accounting programs
  • The ability to effectively build lasting relationships with the firm’s clients
Applicants must possess strong interpersonal skills. You are a person who will pick up the phone and not just email clients.
