Job Description

Content Marketing & Communications SpecialistWho we are: We are two fast-paced real estate teams with multiple Real Estate Agents based out of Nanaimo & servicing the surrounding areas.Who You Are: You are an experienced, hardworking professional who is looking for an assisting role in a busy real estate sales environment. You love diversity in your workday and thrive on a deadline.You want to be part of a team focused on projects, luxury homes, & vlog style educational content.You have the proven ability to provide exceptional customer service to a vast spectrum of clients, and stay centred and positive in a busy, energetic environment.This position is full-time (30-40 hrs/week), Monday - Friday. Additional hours & on-call shifts may be available.The Job: Your Skills & Attributes:

  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Organized, but with the ability to adapt to your environment as needed
  • Desire to have a positive outcome from each interaction with other team members & clients
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure while maintaining a sense of urgency
  • Experienced in digital marketing including social media, and website management
  • Driver’s licence & clean driving record required
  • A passion for being creative and refining skills
Your Education & Experience:
  • Past education in marketing, photography, & videography
  • A keen eye for design & details
  • Real estate industry experience an asset
  • A basic understanding ad management via facebook, instagram, google, & youtube is an asset
  • email marketing design & composition
  • a good understanding lighting compositions, site valuations
  • experience in Canva & Adobe suite of apps an asset
  • Technical acumen to be able to operate, configure, set up, and fix video, audio, lighting, or other production equipment
  • Understanding of post-production techniques
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • take listing photos, video, and design professional floor plans
  • weekly podcast production (both video & audio)
  • monthly market update video creation
  • broadcasting our messaging to our channels and fine tuning the content to apply to each communication avenue
  • communicating directly with clients and providing updates on deadlines & timelines
  • Use digital marketing software on a daily basis to manage and market the listings and the business as a whole
  • Create and implement social media posts and marketing for listings and ads.
  • Website management
  • Organize and implement print marketing for listings
  • Put together listing and buying packages
  • run errands as required specifically related to marketing and the real estate transaction process
