Job descriptionWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Red Seal Millwright to join our team at Harmac Pacific Pulp Mill. Under the direction of the maintenance supervisor, you will support operations by performing maintenance on operating equipment. This position comes under a Labour Agreement with the PPWC Local #8 union and is scheduled on a 4-day/10-hour per day work week. Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of an integrated maintenance team
  • Support breakdown maintenance through cutting, burning, heating, basic welding, and pipefitting.
  • Assist with troubleshooting process issues as they relate to equipment operation
Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid Red Seal Millwright Certification
  • Good physical condition and capable of working in all areas of the mill.
  • Must be physically capable of carrying out job requirements.
  • Familiar with Dynamics and DTS systems
  • Be an independent self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized and adaptable to changes in the work environment.
