Job Description

Island Optimal is seeking a caring and experienced administrative professional to join our office administration team. The successful candidate will have the ability to connect with and care for our patients while managing front desk responsibilities. Duties include taking phone calls, scheduling/booking, billing, invoicing, handling of patient records, occasional inventory sales, prioritization of patient care needs, answering general inquiries about our services, light cleaning/COVID-19 clinic disinfection protocols, and other administration and computer work. Experience with bookkeeping & payroll would be an asset for future growth within the organization. This job requires the ability to prioritize based on new information and constant multitasking to keep the office running efficiently.*This is a part-time position, with full-time possibility as demand increases (Monday-Friday), including one evening a week, at our two locations on Rutherford Road and Dufferin Crescent. Availability to cover occasional extra shifts including an additional evening in the week is a strong asset for this position as collaborative teamwork is expected of all our staff. Our ideal candidate would be proficient in Google suite, comfortable with technology, and able to maintain patients’ confidentiality at all times. Knowledge of Jane App and prior medical office experience would be a bonus. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is extremely organized, capable of coping with change, and who is excited about learning and growing.
