Job Description

Job Purpose: The job of General Production Worker was established to operate manufacturing equipment, work on an assembly line, put together and inspects products, and adhere to all factory safety guidelines and standards as set out by company programs and policies. This position is the core of any manufacturing plant and requires individuals who can physically and mentally handle the fast-paced work environment.Duties and Responsibilities: · Starts assembly and production machinery at beginning of shift.· Monitors equipment to ensure that products are being assembled properly.· Makes sure that workstation is clean and free of hazardous materials.· Addresses problems with production equipment and machinery and reports them to the Production Supervisor· Cleans production equipment and production areas so stay within the company standards as set by the Quality Control Program· Observes and removes faulty product parts from assembly line.· Inspects assembled products to ensure they are up to quality standards set by the company policies and programs.· Affixes labels, company logos, and other exterior details to products.· Packs up completed products and prepares them for shipment (if required)· Organize and stock materials needed for production· Adheres to all safety guidelines pertaining to the production and handling of materials in the manufacturing plant, as instructed through company programs· Reports any/all problems or issues with production to the immediate supervisor· Perform other task as they are assignedPhysical Requirements: Moderate to heavy physical activity such as walking and lifting as well as standing at production line is required on a daily basis.Language: EnglishEducation: High School Graduation CertificateExperience: 6 months to less than 1 yearReference ID: Sept 2021Contract length: 3 monthsPart-time hours: 16-20 per weekExpected start date: 2021-09-13Job Types: Part-time, TemporarySalary: $16.00-$17.00 per hourAdditional pay:
