Foster School requires a temporary part-time (0.8 FTE) Educational Assistant to work with multiple students who require self-regulation and academic support in the classroom.The ideal candidate will have experience in the above, as well as:

  • Experience working in an inclusive classroom setting
  • Experience providing small group social skills programs
  • Experience with sensory regulation
  • CYCW certification or educational assistant certification combined with specialized experience and training in behaviour support
  • Non-Violent Crisis intervention or SIVA training/certification
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.J.T. Foster School, located in Nanton, Alberta is a grade 7-12 school with approximately 200 students.
