Company DescriptionWe think its important to follow your passions.And if you love trees, working with them is a great way to do that.PRT is currently hiring Forest Nursery Workers for our 2021 harvest!You Love Trees, We Grow TreesWe are Perfect for Each other!Job DescriptionPRT is currently recruiting seasonal Nursery Workers to assist with our upcoming harvest of tree seedlings for reforestation across North America. This engaging, high paced, physical position offers a safe work environment and an opportunity for a career that will make a positive change in the world.What a position with PRT offers:o Piece Work with greater earning potential; averaging at $18/hour; your motivation drives your wageo An additional $1.75/hr for a Project Bonus for all hours worked on our Winter lifting project after an initial 3 weeks of employment. (The 3 weeks are also included in the Project Bonus when you work longer than 3 weeks).o Paid training provided at $15.82/houro Flexible work shifts to accommodate varying scheduleso Work is available October to December with an opportunity to join other projects for ongoing career paths, development and personal enrichmento Our PRT nurseries are vibrant and fun communities with employees who share a strong passion for the “green” nature of our business and doing their part in regenerating the forests of North Americao We provide a supportive team structured environment, a strong safety culture, and a commitment to the environmentQualificationsWhat you need for a position with PRT:

  • Energetic and pays attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and a team player
  • Work is meticulous and physically demanding; ability to stand for lengthy periods of time, walking, repetitive lifting, (light to medium weight objects), and performing repetitive movements
  • Appropriate clothing required; Indoor and outdoor work, must be able to work in varying weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation is essential
