MASTER DATA STEWARTCavendish Farms is a leading producer of frozen potato products for retail and foodservice markets throughout Canada, the United States and around the world. We have state-of-the-art processing plants in New Annan PEI, Lethbridge, AB, Wheatley, ON and another in Jamestown, ND, with head offices in Dieppe, NB and sales locations in Toronto, Montreal, and Boston.Cavendish Farms is currently seeking candidates who are interested in pursuing a career in MRO standardization excellence. Reporting to the Director of Process and Systems with work instruction and guidance coming from the Reliability and Maintenance Manager, this permanent full-time position will support and ensure the data quality for all MRO materials meet Cavendish standards prior to being entered into the JD Edwards maintenance management system. The primary focus of this position will be to ensure data quality and completeness of all data and information elements for each part being entered and to cleanse existing records for all divisions of Cavendish Farms.Successful Candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in relevant MRO or maintenance field
• Journeyman Trade or engineering certification is considered an asset
• Ability to distinguish between generic and OEM parts
• Ability to reference many data sources including equipment schematics, manuals, exploded views, google checks Etc.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite
• Working knowledge of JD Edwards E1 maintenance software is considered an asset
• Understanding and experience classifying MRO parts including specifications and attributes
• Lead Change management and work with site users
• Understand written project instructions and ruleset criteria
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail with a high desire for continuous program improvement and excellence

Key Responsibilities:

• Standardization of all new cataloged stores parts through JD Irving’s “Catapult” software prior to entering the businesses MDM process and become the Catapult expert
• Ensure all new part records have appropriate vendor, manufacturer, and original equipment manufacturer parts numbers setup in the cross reference
• Ensure each new part record is checked against existing materials library to ensure a duplicate part isn’t entered
• Network with vendors, OEMs, and buyers to ensure the data quality expectation for new part purchases are met
• Lead the efforts to cleanse all existing materials records and ensure all existing data is brought up to the new standard with the support of possible consultant experts
• Collaborate with other Catapult experts in other Irving organizations
• Facilitate the removal of all identified duplicated items in coordination with Cavendish stores / MRO leaders from all divisions following master data standards
• Work as an SME to train all individuals responsible for Materials management on new best practices
• Develop new process flow diagrams and written policies to support the long-term adherence to materials data quality
• Create normalized organization list master (OEM, vendor and manufactures)
• Ensure all new part are assigned to an appropriate Bill of Materials in E1
• Ensure part photographs are taken to standard and attached to each record in E1
