Leading, supporting and developing a team of Recruitment Specialists & Assistants the role will:Support the delivery of recruitment services to operational leaders in NB and ON, and the implementation of attraction and recruiting strategiesProvide ongoing training, education and professional development for the teamProvide leadership and oversight to all recruitment activities to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable legislationMaintain existing partnerships and establish new strong partnerships with key recruiting stakeholders (e.g., universities, colleges, newcomer organizations, etc.) to build a pipeline of top talent prospectsBe the subject matter expert for the recruitment function for NB and ON and manage the recruitment for all management and senior level positions for NB and ONLead implementation of all recruitment strategy initiatives in NB and ON (including new developments)Identifies focused immigration needs (current and future) for regions of responsibilityDevelop, implement and evaluate quality improvement processes to support the deliver of service excellencePursue networking opportunities, research best practices, and establish benchmarking to shape talent attraction methodsAbout YouIn addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:A Bachelor’s degree, with a concentration in Human Resources or relevant degree and work experienceAdvanced proficiency in English and FrenchA minimum of seven (7+) years experience as a Recruiter and a minimum of two (2) years supervisory experienceExperience in managing and building partnerships with external stakeholders (e.g., educational institutions)Knowledge and experience with international recruiting, immigration and the Foreign Worker ProgramCHRP or RPR designation(s) considered an assetPrevious work experience in healthcare or the hospitality industry and in unionized environments are considered strong assetsAbout UsIt all began in 1988 when our Founder, Joseph Shannon, purchased a single nursing home in his hometown of Sydney, Cape Breton.
