Job Description

SETTLEMENT COORDINATORSouthern NB WoodlandsSouthern New Brunswick Woodlands is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Settlement Coordinator to support our immigration strategy. This role will support both Southern New Brunswick and Nova Scotia regions and is based in Sussex, New Brunswick.Why Choose this Opportunity:

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Operations and International Recruitment Manager to understand newcomer arrival timelines
  • Develop housing strategy for Southern NB and Nova Scotia regions
  • Organize/source/secure lodging for newcomer arrivals
  • Organize/secure transportation for newcomer arrivals
  • Schedule all onboarding activities for upcoming arrivals (i.e., orientation, driver training, etc.)
  • Schedule and deliver on all settlement activities for upcoming arrivals (i.e., SIN, Medicare, etc.)
  • Interact with local multicultural groups to optimize newcomer experience
  • Conduct regular check in with newcomers, post-arrival
  • Focus on retention of newcomers and their families
Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of post-secondary education required
  • Prior experience in a coordinator type role considered an asset
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong organizational skills demonstrating excellent attention to detail
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Experience in new Canadian recruitment/immigration considered an asset
  • Frequent travel from Southern New Brunswick to Truro, Nova Scotia
