Established in 2015, Nova Scotia Spirit Co. is an award-winning spirits, ready-to-drink beverage, and craft beer producer with a strong entrepreneurial culture based in Stellarton, Nova Scotia. We believe in supporting our local community and we are building a community hub and a premiere destination in Nova Scotia at our production facility, tasting room, and restaurant in Stellarton, NS.Position Description / Qualifications*Assist in planning, organizing and activation of small and large scale events across Nova Scotia (and support for other maritimeprovinces)*Support the social media channels through engagement, content creation and campaign planning*Assist in the planning and promotion of Blue Lobster Public House and retail space, Blue Lobster Vodka Sodas, Painted Boat BeerCo., Lost Bell by Sainte Famille Wines and Annapolis Cider Company*Conduct tastings at local establishments, NSLC stores and events*Support and assist the Marketing team on tasks and strengthening of online brand identity strategies and web presence*Aid in market research for new events, markets, products and social trendsPosition Requirements/ Preferences:*Possess great problem solving skills and be self-motivated*Interact effectively with staff and publics*Have a positive attitude and upbeat energy*Have excellent time-management and organizational skills*Ability to work in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision*Have excellent communication skills*Be responsible, dependable and punctual*Be creative and confident in bringing ideas forward*Have a flexible schedule, and be able to work evenings/weekends*Be willing to travel for work/eventsRequirements:*Must be 19+*Must have a valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract*Experience with Sprout Social, Google Analytics and Adobe Software is considered an asset*Experience with graphic design is considered a key asset (if experienced, please send 3 samples along with your resume)*Must be Sober, Alert, and Willing to LearnThis position will have a significant impact on the Nova Scotia Spirit Co. brand, in a creative, fun, and innovative environment.
