Using professional knowledge, critical thinking and clinical judgment, the Pharmacy Practice Assistant engages in independent, interdependent and dependent functions to provide health care focusing on appropriate data collection, inventory management, medication preparation, patient/family education, safe and accurate medication dispensing/distribution, coordination of care, internal and student education, and research.
