Visit us today and check out www.novascotia.com to see why more people from across the globe are moving here.ResponsibilitiesThe Resource Facilitator is responsible for maintaining an overall awareness of the activity and circumstance within the hospital, with the objective of ensuring patient centered care, confidentiality and proper safety standards are maintained. The Facilitator ensures necessary resources and proper staffing levels are available to the Nova Scotia Health Authority. The Resource Facilitator acts as liaison between management and staff, to address any issues that may arise. This may include; emergency situations, customer service issues and resource utilization.Qualifications

• Health Services related studies preferred.
• Post-secondary certificate course in Medical office related studies required.
• Certified Medical terminology course required.
• 3 – 5 years experience in a health care environment preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in a Health Care Facility required.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training required.
• Proficiency in Meditech, including the Admissions, Medical Records and Order Entry modules.
• Good working knowledge of the computer application; Word, Excel and Outlook applications required.
• Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.
• Successful Applicants are required to provide a criminal record check (including Vulnerable Sector Search) before starting employment and assume any associated costs as a condition of employment.
