Within the Correctional Services’ core business area there are two programs: Community Corrections and correctional facilities. Each of these program areas is broken down into closely related activities that have a specific impact on the programs target group.About Our OpportunityThe Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for all scheduling duties for full-time and relief-staff at the facility, as well as ensuring adequate coverage when faced with unscheduled absences such as illness or injury. In addition, the Scheduling Coordinator reports case management information to outside agencies such as the Workers Compensation Board and Insurers and coordinates the Return to Work of employees previously absent due to illness or injury. The Scheduling Coordinator maintains and monitors attendance records, and inputs leave data into a provincial tracking database. The Scheduling Coordinator will report directly to the Deputy of Administration.Primary Accountabilities
