Service Manager Needed at MotorHub Automotive GroupMotorHub Automotive Group is looking for a proven leader that has solid service experience, with knowledge and understanding of service policies and procedures, that is also up for the challenge of finding a new level of customer experience and department performance!MotorHub Automotive Group is a group of automotive dealerships in Nova Scotia including Truro Nissan, Blaikies Dodge Chrysler, Truro Mitsubishi, Straitway Kia, Atlantic Dodge, Clare Dodge, CSN ATLANTIC Collision, CSN Blaikies Collision. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary based on previous experience.As a Service Manager at one of our dealerships, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the activities in the department; developing and maintaining its staff; and establishing strong working relationships with all dealership team members, the general public, and our clients. You will be an integral part of a strong group of leaders that work together to continuously find new ways to improve the experience of our customers and develop our employees. For the right candidate, this could be considered a developmental position with opportunities to progress into roles of increasing responsibility and to participate in learning and mentorship activities to achieve professional growth.Responsibilities include:

  • Hire, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of the service department staff to maximize team productivity and ensure employees are supported and engaged
  • Foster professional employee development through mentoring and determining advanced training needs
  • Understand and comply with health and safety requirements as well as manufacturer warranty and policy procedures
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by compassionately handling customer concerns immediately, making customer satisfaction a department priority, and establishing good working relationships with customers
  • Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize comebacks by conducting regular spot checks of completed jobs
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of customer service experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a leadership/supervisory role
  • Automotive service experience required
  • Candidates with the desire and ability to lead the department to the next level in production, profitability and customer satisfaction will be considered.
