Job Description

Subsidiary: Miller Paving LimitedLocation: New Liskeard, ONAs a Driver, You Will:

  • Maintain a clean and mechanically sound truck
  • Responsible for daily inspection of vehicle, always ensuring proper function of all safety related features of the vehicle
  • Deliver products to customers on a timely basis
  • Perform circle checks (including air brakes)
  • Maintain accurate documentation
  • Other duties as assigned
What Youll Bring
  • Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license, with a clean driving abstract and CVOR
  • Mechanically inclined will be considered an asset
  • An OSSD or equivalent diploma
  • Knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act and municipality by-laws
  • Punctual, reliable and team player
  • Ability to travel within Ontario for extended periods of time
  • Ability to sit, stand or drive more than 90 minutes per day
  • Effective communication (written and verbal)
  • Previous driving experience will be required
  • Ability to perform physical labour, work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 23 kg
  • Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
