Are you ready to design your futureBe our next Mechanical Engineer!Your work environment at EXPIn this role, you will be a part of the infrastructure team, of the Infrastructureamp; Transportation, based in New Liskeard, ON office and have the opportunity to work on various projects.What a day at EXP has in store for you- Be able to lead, mentor and direct less experienced mechanical staff on all of their responsibilities, particularly in the design of pumps and piping systems- Perform QA/QC review of specifications, reports, code application, RFI and submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables and drawings- QA/QC reviews all calculations by designers and provide guidance and mentoring- Determine the content of drawings and specs for less experienced staff in order to meet the scope of work- Review code-related items with Designers and ensure compliance- Edit and develop the basis of design narratives documenting the project scope- Write new specifications sections, and develop new details, as required for project needs- Write studies and reports for systems on projects- Apply and modify appropriate controls diagrams for the project- Modify sequences of operation for air and water side equipment and systems- Critically evaluate contractor pricing and cost estimates- Travel to project sites to review the progress of work and successfully solve problems within timeamp; budget- Develop and monitor work plansWhat your experience looks like- Candidate should have an engineering Bachelor #39;s degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering with 5-10 years of pump and piping design experience- Registered Professional Engineer- 3D Modeling experience will be considered an asset
