Reporting to the Director of Digital Product, the Senior Product Analyst will be a key member in our digital product team supporting the design and development of innovative digital experiences across both new and existing products. The Senior Product Analyst will be working closely with business to support go-to-market strategy in B2B2C, B2B or B2C, which includes conducting research, identifying unmet needs, transforming business and user requirements into product specifications, be an integral player in our Agile product development team to ensure high quality product is delivered to customers. The Senior Product Analyst will help Medavie bring a unique value proposition that improves the health and wellness of Canadians. The ideal candidate will have passion, energy, be nimble and has the know-how to support the creation of digital products while embracing uncertainty and ambiguity. The role requires experience working in a fast-paced, Agile, product development team in the full software development life cycle. If you enjoy experimentation and iteration, making your mark on the end-to-end design of the product, shaping product strategy, and working on leading edge health and wellness solutions, this may be the role for you.What You #39;ll Do

  • Support product activities necessary for end-to-end software development lifecycle, including, but not limited to analyzing and assessing customer/business requirements as they pertain to systems, process, and/or change management.
  • Develop product specifications and artifacts; ensure high product quality; and proactively ideate and execute on-going product strategy and operational improvements.
  • Engage, innovate, and formulate systems/business process scope and objectives through a combination of research, analysis of data and fact-finding with an understanding of current business and industry trends.
  • Provide product support and subject matter expertise to internal and external stakeholders through various forums.
  • Lead implementations to help successfully launch products and services, conduct real-world observations, analyze customer feedback and data, and iterate based on evidence and research.
  • Be a key resource in the adoption strategy to drive usage and acquisition by continuously monitoring and measuring client experiences, end-user behaviours and usage of the product to inform ongoing refinement of product roadmap and feature pipeline.
Experience You #39;ll Need
  • Excellent understanding of Agile development process and successful track record of supporting and launching digital products (in responsive web platforms and/or Native Apps). Knowledge/experience and proven track record in the digital health space would be beneficial.
  • Experience communicating to stakeholders and participants with all levels of knowledge and backgrounds.
  • Previous experience leveraging data and insights to support problem solving and to inform product decisions.
  • Startup experience helpful; highly collaborative and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment professionally and positively.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and remains calm by incorporating excellent time management skills and exceptional organization skills to meet many priorities, deadlines and frequent interruptions.
  • Passion for health and wellness solutions to improve the well-being of Canadians. Prior experience with healthcare and human-centred design is a plus.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: bachelor #39;s degree in business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent
  • Work experience: 6+ years in a professional role in an Agile, product development team including experience gathering and transforming business requirements into product specifications, working with technical teams, and exposure to a range of analytical techniques.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Expert level Microsoft Office tools (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Atlassian software tools (i.e. Confluence, JIRA)
  • Embrace uncertainty and ambiguity; be self-motivated and dedicated to continuous improvement
  • Ability to be proactive, drive requirements and produce high quality deliverables in an Agile team
  • Ability to work within a dynamic rapidly growing and evolving environment
  • Ability to work with cross-functional departments to achieve business goals bility to empathize with customers
