And we’re looking for passionate, motivated people to join us in making one of Canada’s best colleges even better.The RoleThe Faculty of Science & Technology currently offers a one-year Certificate in Computing Science, a two-year Computing Science Diploma (with a Game Development stream), as well as first- and second-year courses for students transferring to university degree programs.We are seeking an excellent Computing Science instructor who brings experience and a demonstrated ability to support, motivate, and challenge students in first- and second-year Computing Science courses.ResponsibilitiesAs a faculty member you will instruct students, facilitate learning and evaluate student progress in College courses. You will plan, organise and manage learning activities and resources, provide academic advice to learners and maintain quality learner-centred instruction.To Be Successful in this Role You Will NeedApplicants must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in one of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an appropriate equivalent, from an accredited university and relevant post-secondary teaching experience. The successful candidate must be qualified to teach first- and second-year university transfer computer science courses. Experience with C++ and Python Programming is required.
