From cozy corners for intimate conversations to vibrant spaces for celebrations, The Brew Estate is here to elevate your experience and leave you with cherished memories.Role: We are looking for a results-driven restaurant manager to meet sales goals by hiring and training competent staff, overseeing kitchen operations, and motivating staff during busy hours. Restaurant managers are also responsible for making changes to the menu, ordering ingredients for the kitchen staff, and gathering customer feedback.To succeed as a restaurant manager, you must have excellent interpersonal skills and experience in a restaurant environment. A good restaurant manager can multitask and remain calm in stressful situations.Responsibilities:

  • Consult with chefs to select menu items that will appeal to customers and make efficient use of food supplies
  • Develop wine and liquor lists appropriate to menus
  • Estimate supplies needed, order supplies, and deal with food, beverage and equipment suppliers and their representatives
  • Recruit and train new employees, schedule work hours and keep employment records
  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure health and safety regulations and policies are met
  • Ensure that maintenance and decor standards are met
  • Supervise restaurant staff
  • Maintain friendly contact with customers and resolve customer complaints
  • Develop marketing strategies and supervise advertising campaigns
  • Track the overall profitability of the restaurant and forecast revenues
  • Prepare budgets and manage finances, including maintaining records of costs and payments made to suppliers, balancing daily cash received with records of sales, and depositing daily income for safekeeping.
  • Hire, train, and supervise restaurant employees
  • Create a staff schedule to ensure appropriate staffing
  • Track stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment, forecast needs, and oversee ordering as necessary
  • Take ownership of budgets and cost control methods to minimize expenses
  • Address customer needs, comments, and complaints
  • Adhere to and enforce employee compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Process payroll and maintain all relevant records
  • Ensure all employees are working within outlined operating standards
  • Report on financial performance, inventory, and personnel
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree required; bachelor’s degree in hospitality preferred.
  • 7-8 years of food and beverage service industry experience required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification.
  • Working knowledge of general restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operating costs in accordance with budgets.
  • Comfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks as needed.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.
