Job Description

Are you looking for a great work environment with one of the largest and most recognizable home furnishings brands in the worldAre you outgoing, energetic and enjoy dealing with peopleLa-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries is currently seeking a mature, positive, enthusiastic and results driven part-time administrative assistant.**Shifts will be a combination of WEEKNIGHT and WEEKEND shifts**Who we are looking forLa-Z-Boy administration department responsibilities include processing sales related paperwork, accepting payments, assisting customers with scheduling deliveries and pickups, plus maintaining communication with customer care centre personnel. The successful candidate will also perform general office duties including (but not limited to) filing and answering telephones in a prompt and courteous manner, maintaining a neat and professional administration area, and basic accounts receivable. You must consistently demonstrate through daily activity the ability to support the sales team, maintain company files and balance and reconcile daily receipts & reports. The successful candidate will work closely with both our sales team and managers. Strong computer skills, a good phone presence, excellent communication skills and Customer Service/administrative experience in home furnishings or retail is an asset.· High School Diploma· 1+ years of office/administration experience· Reliable Transportation· Exceptional organizational skills· Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment· Working evenings & weekends· Excellent Time Management skills· Self-Starter· Above average computer skills· Customer Service Focused individual· Ability to work with others· Ability to adapt to change· Ability to follow direction from different levels of managementAbout Us: La-Z-Boy is a leading residential home furnishings provider in Canada and all over the world, La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries throughout the GTA are part of 12 independently owned locations in Ontario.
