Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MMLs expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.Role SummaryResponsible for all aspects of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and effective change management for assigned program(s) and continuous improvements of all products/processes developed and produced at Dortec.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) ensuring planned milestones are achieved
  • Lead plant trials for engineering changes, tool moves, new program launches, PPAP runs
  • Lead launch and warranty issue resolution in problem solving
  • Participate in warranty reviews and analysis at customer center
  • Prepare and complete control plans, receiving inspection matrix, assembly work instructions, product validation plans
  • Develop, implement and suprvise launch containment system
  • participate in Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) review and team sign off
  • Leads Engineering deviation request process
  • Adhere to all product deliver process program requirements and expectations
  • Establish supplier PPAP timing and approve on time prior to product validation requirements
  • Timely test incident report response and resolution
Key Qualifications/Requirements
  • 5 to less than 7 years of work related experience.
  • Completion of community college diploma/certificate.
  • Completion of a post-secondary education program in mechanical/quality engineering
  • ASQC certification as a quality engineer (CQE) preferred
  • Tier I automotive experience preferred
