  • Assisting the Trial Coordinator in maintaining court lists utilizing established scheduling practices
  • Processing documents and orders
  • Liaising with Trial Coordinators, judiciary, counsel, other staff, and the public regarding the scheduling of matters
  • Identifying and bringing issues that may affect the schedule to the attention of the Trial Coordinator
  • Assisting in the preparation of statistical information
How do I qualifyQualifications:
  • Organizational, coordination and planning skills to assist with the scheduling of court sittings
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Judgement and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Analytical skills to assist with the compilation of statistical data
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with tact and diplomacy with judges, staff, counsel and the public
  • Knowledge of the functions and rules of the Superior Court of Justice, relevant legislation and legal terminology
  • Proficiency with computer applications (word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, databases, email, Internet and management information systems)
