Job Description

AutoCad DrafterThe CompanyTiltco Architectural is a custom aluminum window, door and curtain wall manufacturer which services the high-end residential and commercial mixed-use markets. The breath of Tiltco products are using in award winning residential and commercial projects across North America.The Opportunity The Intermediate AutoCAD Drafter will be responsible for shop drawings, assisting with the structural engineering design aspect of projects, and supporting the sales team and project management. The Intermediate AutoCAD Drafter will work closely with the Sales and Production teams to provide time, verifying finished frame & glass sizes as well as window and door constructability.WHY JOIN US

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare detailed structural engineering design drawings for a wide variety of commercial, industrial and residential projects, ensuring project deliverables are completed in accordance with the scope of work and the time allocated to complete the project.
  • verifying finished frame & glass sizes as well as window and door constructability.
  • Interact and communicate with Production, clients, and any other applicable parties to discuss the design of the project, status of drawings and/or issues related to the drawings.
  • Interpret and ensure conformance to applicable standards and codes, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Provide insight and input when issues are detected, or where an alternative method should be considered. Print and check final drawings.
  • Coordinate schedules with estimating, production, and installation manager.
  • Use of window & door software Orgadata/Logikal
REQUIRMENTS
  • Effective technical skills in general structures.
  • Technical knowledge of windows, doors, curtain wall & railing systems
  • Adobe PDF Editor (3 years)
  • 3 years of Drafting and detailing experience, with comprehensive working knowledge with AutoCAD and basic knowledge of Revit software.
  • Diploma in Architectural Technology or Civil Engineering Technology.
  • Good working knowledge of the Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, prioritizing, organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong work ethic, motivation, interpersonal and judgement skills.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per yearBenefits:
