Job Description

Urban Barn is seeking a Full-Time Key Holder at our Newmarket location in Ontario.Our Key Holders are responsible for supporting store management to create a positive working environment for the team and an excellent shopping experience for our customers. This includes opening the store for business and ensuring we are ready to welcome customers, and/or closing down for business, and preparing our store for the following day. Key Holders treat the store as their home and act as a link between management, the team, and the warehouses to ensure we meet customer needs.Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we are looking for candidates who can work 30-40 hours per week and are available to work a variety of shifts on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.If you love beautiful home décor and helping people, come put your passion to work at Urban Barn!Who You Are

  • Passionate about interior décor and merchandising
  • Friendly, self-motivated, and vibrant

  • Sales-driven while being respectful and customer-focused
  • Strong communication and listening skills
What You Bring
  • 2 years’ retail or customer service leadership experience preferred
  • Retail sales experience preferred
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A talent for establishing rapport with customers and offering exceptional service
  • Ability to coach, train and direct team members while maintaining open communication and productivity
  • Highly organized, motivated, and can get quality work completed
  • Ability to lift/move stock weighing up to 50 lbs.
