Job Description

Rockstar Music is a network of university educated musicians, teachers and recording industry professionals. We provide private, one-on-one, online and in-home music lessons, as well as community-based music programs, like Rock Bands and Uke jams.We are currently looking for a Piano Instructor to join our team.Why join team Rockstar

Requirements:
  • Access to a reliable vehicle to get to and from lessons
  • Reliable, patient, open-minded and enjoy working with children
  • Able to work independently with limited to no supervision
  • Able to teach technique and repertoire in a fun, engaging manner
  • BA Music or completion of ARCT is considered an asset
  • ECEs & Ontario Certified Teachers are encouraged with rate premiums
Responsibilities:
  • Encourage the joy of making music
  • Help students develop the discipline and commitment required for success
  • Make learning just as fun as making music itself
  • Building a strong relationship with the students to better help them succeed
  • Give brief feedback to parents at the end of every lesson
