POSITION PURPOSEReporting to the Manager, Procurement Strategy & Compliance, is responsible for supporting effective management of the Region’s diverse and complex operating and capital procurements including the acquisition of all required goods and services in accordance with the Region’s Procurement Bylaw, while ensuring that program practices are consistent with relevant legislation, regulations and policies; works on projects involving cross functional teams, supervises the work of a team of Procurement Office staff and fosters internal and external stakeholder relationships.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
