Job Description

  • Set up and operate brake press to bend, form or straighten metal products
  • Provide brake press expertise, support, and direction in all areas of the brake cell including but not limited to; brake press operation, dies, measuring devices, gauges, tooling, material handling and safety
  • Adjust controls to ensure adherence to production specifications.
  • Follow all safety practices during machine operations
  • Reviews blueprints and drawings of the finished product
  • Makes the appropriate adjustments to the brake press to control speed, material feed and path of the cut/bend
  • Ensures that the brake press is properly set-up, working well and producing quality product
  • Ensures that the brake press is working at full capacity, is stocked with needed metal plate
  • Completes a quality inspection of the finished product to ensure defect-free
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $17.00-$18.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
