Job Description

Dining Room ServerThe Keg Steakhouse + Bar has been ranked among the top 50 employers in Canada for the past 12 years. As a leader in the hospitality industry, we are currently seeking qualified energetic professionals to help round out our team.The Dining Room Server position is a vital role in our operations, driving sales and demonstrating exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional hospitality to our guests, from the minute they walk in to the minute they leave.
  • Enhance the guest experience by utilizing a deep knowledge of our food, wine and cocktail offerings to provide the memorable meals our guests crave.
  • Ensure our guests are pleased with their selections, and are enjoying the atmosphere by ensuring an orderly, tidy and safe visit.
  • Confirm order accuracy, providing the guest with their exact order.
  • Be a representative of the Keg Brand, and all it stands for.
Requirements:
  • Be able to regularly work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Have 1 year serving experience in a casual or fine dining restaurant.
  • Be able to work long hours on their feet.
  • Be able to work well independently as well as on a team.
  • Be guest oriented, willing to exceed the expectations of those choosing to dine with us.
  • Be able to work a number of shifts starting at various times.
  • Be familiar with a full service bar, previous experience selling wine is an asset.
  • Smart Serve Certification is an asset.
  • Have references for restaurant related experience
