  • Responsible for aiding production personnel in achieving targeted product quality and production volumes
  • Ensure that work is being performed while meeting all of the Company’s Safety and Environmental protection standards
  • Responsible for analysis of raw materials, intermediate products, finished products and effluent analysis (requires use of gas chromatographs, spectrophotometers, and various wet laboratory equipment)
  • Responsible for preparation of standards and entry of all analysis into LIMS is required
  • Sampling a number of sample trucks, railcars and a variety of process vessels
  • Sampling a number of raw materials, intermediate and final products which are pyrophoric in nature
  • Must follow special precautions and detailed procedures
  • Review and comprehend all applicable process changes (new product development and continuous improvement to existing formulations and procedures is continuous)
  • Perform additional analysis to verify process improvements and perform analysis for multiple finished goods at the same time
  • Perform instrument verifications prior to the start of process campaigns
  • Sample/analyze all raw materials, intermediates, effluents and final products
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science degree in related field (Chemistry, Biology, etc.) or min. 5 years of related industrial experience required
  • Previous experience in an analytical lab preferred
