Job Description

Queen Bean Cafe has just been Named the #1 Cafe in Niagara Falls. This was awarded to us by an independent consulting firm. Only 1% of Canadian businesses receive this award.At Queen Bean Cafe we work together to be the best moment in every guests day while delivering signature sandwiches, salads and drinks.We believe every moment creates a story and we are honoured to be a part of that customers story. The commitment to customer excellence is our main priority and what continually gains us 5 star reviews. We are quickly becoming Niagara Falls destination cafe.To be successful in the role you:

  • Pay attention to details and make an effort to get to know customers
  • Greet and thank customers with eye contact and a friendly tone
  • Make each experience personal
  • Work together as a team to create an infectious energy in the store
  • Have focus to quality and take pride in their work
  • Maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
  • Catering experience is an asset but not required
  • Smart Serve or willing to obtain
  • Food Handlers Certificate is an asset but not required
Basic Qualifications
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
  • Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security,
  • Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to build relationships
Part-time hours: 15-30 per weekJob Types: Part-time, Internship / Co-opSalary: $16.00-$18.00 per hourAdditional pay:
