Job Description

Maintenance & General LabourPosition: Brokered workers (across Niagara Region – from Fort Erie to Grimsby) Purpose: Contract Self-employed position offering services to seniors and adults living with a disability Responsibilities:

  • Workers required across the Niagara Region to assist seniors and adults with disabilities with gardening, grass cutting, minor home repairs and odd jobs.
  • Although you will work for yourself, you will be required to complete the screening process: application form, personal interview, sign confidentiality agreement, attend orientation and submit to a police check.
  • .The orientation will enable you to be aware of CSSN policies
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  • To have patience, understanding and enjoy helping others.

  • Ability to speak a second language an asset.
  • Previous experience in a dedicated field of work preferred (i.e. license, years of experience, etc.)
