Job Description

We’re growing! And looking to welcome an enthusiastic and hands-on individual to join our team for the position of Maintenance Technician located in Niagara Falls, ON! This full-time position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined and loves a challenge! What you #39;ll be doing:

  • Maintaining the physical integrity of the building through general maintenance and cleaning.
  • Repairing items in vacant and occupied units (minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
  • Completing physically demanding work which includes the use of ladders, and power tools.
  • Applying knowledge of building HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
  • Contributing to operational excellence through tasks being completed within Skyline standards, and in line with all applicable provincial legislation including Occupational Health and Safety Act, Residential Tenancies Act, and the Human Rights Code.
What we look for:
  • Proven relevant mechanical/electrical aptitude and trouble-shooting skills.
  • General understanding of basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
  • Ability to frequently walk, bend, push, pull and lift items, occasionally up to 50lbs as well as go up and down stairs.
  • PC skills are an asset (Word, Excel, e-mail/web).
  • Five (5) years experiences in residential maintenance or related field.
