You will provide care with medication administration, wound care, infusion management, feeding to palliative clients, paediatric clients, and clients with chronic conditions.We understand this crucial role of homecare, but also that it only really works if there is stability, career progression, personal growth and learning for nurses. • Travel to patients’ homes to provide medical and personal care
• Administer medication
• Inspect wounds and change dressings
• Test for things like infection, weakness, and bedsores
• Collaborate with Physicians to create personalized healthcare plans
• Help educate other caregivers and family members on how to care for the patient
• Monitor patients and communicate their treatments with their attending physician

Qualifications and Skills

• Passionate about community health/home support
• Committed to working with seniors and/or persons with disabilities
• Able to work independently
• A solid knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of community healthcare and the delivery of personal care service to clients
• Demonstrated ability to follow English written and verbal instructions as related to client care
• Able to travel locally from client to client
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Ability to empathize with patients
• Able to provide physical and emotional support
• Active listening skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of medical practices and equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, CasualPay: From $29.00 per hourAdditional pay:
