Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), a leader in Canadian habitat conservation, seeking an experienced professional to assist in the delivery of our regional conservation projects.In this position, you will deliver, implement and evaluate programs including reviewing and promoting new developments and technical information in the area of forage establishment, forage production and grazing management systems.We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong agronomic skills; someone who enjoys a complex environment and is capable of managing a diverse portfolio of projects on tight deadlines.Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to deal effectively with various stakeholders. Previous experience with livestock production and forage would be beneficial to this position.Our ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated expertise in project planning and execution, financial and contract management, and tendering and contractor supervision.Experience in agriculture extension with farmers/farm groups and knowledge of winter cereals agronomy would be considered assets.Your three to five years of directly related experience, professionalism and outgoing personality will make you the ideal candidate for this which is based on our dog-friendly office in North Battleford.Requirements
