At this time, we are seeking a full-time ambitious and flexible individual who is prepared to expend efforts in a variety of diverging duties. These tasks include assisting with shipping and receiving responsibilities, or facilitating with customer transactions at the sales counter and over the phone as well as a delivery driver when needed. Our location is a very team based environment with an emphasis on our desire to provide a high level of customer service.Duties and Responsibilities: An EMCO Customer Support / Warehouse teammate is expected to:Represent the Profit Centre in a professional mannerEndorse and sustain our Core Values and Ethics with every interactionEstablish a long-lasting and devoted consumer baseTake initiative and be persuasive by using excellent communication skillsBe a valuable and essential part of the team at our Profit CentreProcess sales orders in person and over the phoneMeet or exceed the Profit Centre’s gross profit and sales targetsInterface with and assist customers who come into the Profit CentreInvestigate and rectify customer concerns, such as pricing deductions and product returnsExpedite customer material with vendors when requiredFollow-up with customers on quotes and outstanding ordersAssist in shipping, counter, warehouse and deliveries as neededPerform any other reasonable duties requested by the Profit Centre ManagerKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesOutstanding customer service and telephone skillsHigh level of detail orientation and organizational abilities; must be able to multitask and balance many different deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skills to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammatesIdentify customer requirements and provide sound solutionsAble to learn and operate the applicable software systems used to process ordersIntermediate math skills – add, subtract, multiply, divide; using whole numbers, fractions, and decimalsWilling to invest a minimum of 40 hours in training, annuallyForklift certification an asset, but can be acquired on the jobEntrance RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent2+ years’ experience in customer service, counter sales and/or warehousingComprehensive plumbing and heating knowledgeClean Driver’s abstractSuccessful completion of EMCO’s hiring processIf you are interested in this position, please forward your cover letter along with resume in confidence to: kneufeldt@emcoltd.comEmco is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a discrimination, harassment and barrier free workplace where all employees can contribute to their fullest potential.
