For more information visit our website https://www.tecvalco.com/.Drafter Department: Drafting/EngineeringReports to: Manager of EngineeringJob Summary: Responsible for the development and preparation of technical drawings for components used in manufacturing processes.Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities: · Design and prepare detailed drawings from measurements, sketches and specifications· Produce detailed specifications, including bill of materials· Document control and maintain a drawing fabrication database· Revise designs and plans to comply with modified specifications made during the manufacturing process· Complete documentation packages and produce drawing packages· Maintain part number database· Prepare Issued for Approval drawing for client submittal· Create jigs/ templates to facilitate manufacturing process· Actively participates in the implementation and daily routines of the ISO 9001:2020 Quality Management System· Other duties as assignedQualifications: · Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks· Proficiency with Microsoft Office· Product design experience· Post-secondary degree in engineering/draftingKey competencies: · Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects· Excellent organization and project management skills, including the ability to multitask and establish priorities in a fast-paced product development environment· Ability to work both independently and as a teamWork Conditions· Fast-paced environment· Manual dexterity· Lifting/moving up to 10 lbsJob Type: Full-timeSalary: From $20.00 per hourBenefits:
