Facility Service Worker - INS002296Employment Type: Permanent Full-timeLocation(s): SK-North West-North BattlefordMinistry: 013 Saskbuilds and ProcurementSalary Range: $19.501 - $24.440 HourlyGrade: SGEU.03.The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement, Northern Property Management Branch, North Region, requires a Facility Service Worker for duties in North Battleford.As a member of a service-oriented team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of operations and maintenance, cleaning, groundskeeping, and security procedures. Duties will include: operation and maintenance of all HVAC, plumbing, electrical and related systems and equipment, snow removal, lawn care, and securing building and grounds as required. The successful candidate will be required to operate heavy-duty power cleaning equipment, grounds equipment (manual and powered), and must be able to climb ladders and lift or carry objects.To qualify for this position, candidates must have working-level knowledge of building maintenance and operations as well as WHMIS. You must be in good physical condition in order to perform a variety of manual activities. You must have a valid drivers license and a valid Firemans Certificate.You must be able to work in demanding work environment with unpredictable workloads and deadlines. You must be approachable, co-operative, and flexible when dealing with clients and colleagues.
