ETG Commodities Inc. is a fast-growing pulses and specialty crops company with over $250 million of revenue and over 300,000 MT of annual volume. ETG has three primary operating divisions: 1. Export Trade; 2. Import Wholesale, and; 3. Facility Operations. The Company is headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, and has operating facilities in Ontario and Saskatchewan, including warehousing and processing plants, along with a large-scale splitting facility.ETG Commodities Inc. is looking for a Grain Buyer to join our team in North Battleford, SK.The Grain Buyer will be responsible for the procurement and storage of the grain products assigned. This position will be responsible for the overall development of the relationships with producers/sellers including the following:1. Grow existing business base and build relationships directly with farmers and develop new partnerships2. Responsible for negotiating and buying grain such as Chickpeas, lentils and other speciality crops to continually increase market share.3. Establish and maintain customer relationships with farmers, brokers as well as toll processors.4. Keeps daily records on kinds grades of grain received, prices paid, amount purchased and amount in storage.5. Purchase correct grades of grains for domestic contracts and exports.6. Ensure delivery of products on time, to the stipulated destination.7. Send out daily reports to management of all offers and bids.8. Sends out weekly crop progress and harvest reports as well as market trends.9. Work in compliance with TW Commodity Inc. Occupational Health and Safety Policy.Employment Qualification and Requirements: You are a self-motivated individual that enjoys working autonomously in a fast-paced environment. You are a clear and concise communicator and take pride in your work by paying a high attention to detail. You are a team player that leads by example, and you take ownership of your responsibilities and special projects to ensure key deadlines are consistently met.1. Degree in Ag-Business or other formal training preferred.2. Minimum 2 years of experience working within the grain industry.3. Proven track record for building strong farmer and grain elevators relations.4. Proficiency with grain purchasing and contract management required.5. Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook.6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be a team player and able to work efficiently in a dynamic fast-paced, work environment.7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills while maintaining high quality customer-service orientation.8. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail including ability to balance multiple priorities.9. Ability to travel in Canada and abroad to visit farming operations and grain elevators.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:

Schedule:

Experience:

• purchasing: 1 year (preferred)
• Grain/Agriculture Industry: 2 years (required)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (preferred)
