Job Description

E Construction, a division of NPA Ltd. is looking for a professional, seasonal Skid Steer Operator with previous experience in road construction to join us for our 2022 Construction Season. We are looking for an individual that has experience in road construction and is looking to further their career development.Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment
  • Operate equipment while maintaining proper awareness of ones surroundings
  • Grease and check oil and fluids for all equipment
  • Perform traffic control duties when needed
  • Sweeping sidewalks
  • Shovelling/raking
  • All other duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Road construction experience in a municipal setting is considered an asset
  • Ability to understand survey layout and grade sheets is considered an asset
  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience operating a Skid Steer at a finish operator capacity
  • Experience with cat controls is an asset
  • Capable of operating multiple pieces of equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
  • Knowledge of base construction methods, road construction materials, heavy equipment operation and industry requirements.
  • Physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.
  • Must comply with Drug, Alcohol, and Fitness testing requirements.
  • Availability to work both out-of-town and remote locations.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
