Tecvalco Ltd. is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Labourer to join our team in our North Battleford facility!Job Summary: The warehouse labourer is responsible for all shipping and receiving and ensuring the organization and maintenance of the warehouse including keeping an accurate count of inventory.Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities: · Ensure shipments contain proper documentation and if multiple items per shipment, ensure item lists are complete· Receive work (sales) orders and coordinate parts for shop and field technicians and external customers· Picking and sorting of parts· Match product with purchase· Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory using a computerized inventory management system· Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor· Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate inventory levels· Material mover inside/outside of facility· Manually move freight, stock or other materials· Unload, inspect and receive incoming freight· Maintain a safe work environment· Light maintenance of machinery (grease forklift, filling forklift battery water, cleaning machines and inspecting machines)· Pickups and deliveries as required· Housekeeping duties (sweeping and taking out garbage)· Other duties as assignedQualifications· Forklift operators’ certificate required· Some experience stock control· Some computer experience with inventory control software an asset· Possess a valid driver’s license· High school diplomaKey competencies· Ability to operate loader, forklift and bobcat· Ability to comprehend detailed instructions orally and in writing in English· Time management skills· Multitask and establish priorities· Customer service· Strong attention to detail and accuracy· Able to work well under pressure· Ability to work independentlyWork Conditions· Fast-paced environment· Manual dexterity· Lifting/moving up to 50 lbs· Extended periods of standing and walking· Requires kneeling, bending and squattingWhile we thank all who apply, we will only be contacting those who we would like to move forward with in the recruitment process.
