Job Description

The Position: 1 OPENING!

  • Description: Commercial Facility Technician
  • Contract Schedule: Monday-Wednesday-Friday, 10-15 hours
  • Compensation: $17.55/hour
YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER #39;S LICENSE AND YOUR OWN VEHICLE.Key Responsibilities:
  • Completing all cleaning to standards set out in the Reference List and Staff Binders.
  • Preparing all cleaning kits, chemicals, and equipment every day for proper use daily.
  • Double-check all your cleaning is up to standards at assigned locations.
  • Understand and follow daily schedules.
  • Ensuring you are aware of the cleaning needs of each location by following the spec sheets provided.
  • Taking an active effort in positive client communications when possible.

The job involves but is not limited to:
  • Dusting and cleaning surface areas and counter surfaces.
  • Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of hardwood/laminate or tiled floors.
  • Using vacuum equipment; vacuums and cleaning carpets, perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain removal.
  • Disposing of trash from bins and containers.
  • Cleaning sinks, basins, toilets, and showers in private and public bathrooms.
  • Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
  • Maintaining upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products.
  • Restocking of restroom supplies.
  • Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Having previous cleaning experience is preferred.
  • Expectations are as follows:
  • Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
  • Training will be provided, however, experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties.
  • Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organized and able to follow a schedule.
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time; physically able to push a vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time.
  • General knowledge of cleaning supplies and techniques for cleaning.
  • Able to work nights and possibly some weekends if requested.
