We are looking to hire a Full-time Production Assistant for our shop in North River. This position has received support through the Canadian Summer Jobs Funding for small business. Please keep this in mind when you consider if this position is right for you. Below are the responsibilities of the Production Assistant:- Assisting in the brewing of Kombucha (able to lift 50+ pounds)- Sleeving and washing of cans- Canning of kombucha- Packing and preparing customer orders- Performing deliveries of customer orders- Working the Farmers Market booth and/or working special event booths Requirements- Strong Organizational Skills- Ability to efficiently multi-task- Good verbal communication skills- Willingness to adapt and contribute to the growth of a small business- Open minded approach towards learning- Ability to work independently without supervision- Valid Drivers License While this position will be full time, candidates should to be ready for a flexible work week. Depending on how the summer progresses, a more structured schedule may be put into place. Additionally, there is also opportunity for more hours becoming available.
