Job Description

We are seeking a Paralegal to join our client #39;s successful team in their Collections and Commercial Litigation practice groups. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates looking to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and growing environment.Our client is an established, full-service law firm with over 50 lawyers. The firm has a broad-based practice which includes bankruptcy/insolvency, business law, commercial lending, commercial litigation, commercial and residential real estate, condominium law, employment and labour law, family law, immigration law, planning and development law, personal injury, wills and estates, and tax law.The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Ontario paralegal license;
  • Minimum of 2 years of collections and general commercial litigation experience;
  • Solid knowledge of civil litigation procedures (Superior Court and Small Claims Court);
  • Advanced computer skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and diplomatically;
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team;
