The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate their ability to achieve sales targets before building their team in the Toronto market.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a team that conducts business-to-business (B2B) sales in person, with comprehensive knowledge of the entire sales process. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for coaching / training its members in the field by shadowing them, assisting with business-to-business interactions, and helping to close sales as the team is built. Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth in the merchant services sector.Client Acquisition: Produce sales yourselfamp; oversee the acquisition of new business clients through B2B interactions, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.Field Training: Coachamp; train team members in the field by shadowing them, assisting with business-to-business interactions, and helping to close sales.Performance Tracking: Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and implement improvement plans where necessary.Trainingamp; Development: Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance team skills in sales techniques and product knowledge.Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.Reporting: Generate detailed sales reports and present them to senior management regularly.Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and ethical standards.RequirementsExperience: Provable experience and success in selling merchant services using face to face sales, ideally with team management and training experience.Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
